WHAT IS ZOPICLON-NICOMED AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR

Pharmacotherapeutic group:

Zopiclone is a fast-acting and short-acting sleeping pill (a sleep-inducing agent) with a chemical structure other than that used so far (a class of cyclopyrrolone). In addition to causing sleep and alleviating anxiety, zopiclone also has anticonvulsant action and relieves muscle tension.

Therapeutic indications:

Zopiclone is used for the short-term treatment of sleep disorders, including difficulty falling asleep, frequent waking at night, and early morning waking when insomnia is severe and disrupts daily activities.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the medicinal product should not be administered for more than 28 days,
including days for a gradual dose reduction.

Zopiclone is for use in adults over 18 years of age.
