Your medicine is called Voltaire Retard and is available as prolonged-release tablets. Each prolonged-release tablet contains 100 mg of the drug diclofenac sodium.

Voltaire Retard belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) that are used to treat pain and inflammation.

What Voltaire Retard is used for
Voltaire Retard is suitable for the treatment of the following conditions:

Rheumatic or degenerative joint pain (arthritis).
Back pain, Frozen Shoulder Syndrome, Tennis Elbow Syndrome and other forms of rheumatism.
Injuries, dislocations, or other injuries.
Pain and swelling after surgery.
Painful gynecological inflammatory conditions, including painful menstrual pain.
How Voltaren Retard Works
Voltaire Retard relieves the symptoms of inflammation, such as pain and swelling, by blocking the synthesis of molecules (prostaglandins) that cause inflammation, pain and fever. It does not act on the causes of inflammation or fever.
