What Tobrin is and what it is used for

Tobramycin refers to a group of medicines called aminoglycoside antibiotics.

Tobrin eye drops are used to treat superficial bacterial infections of the eye and eyelids, such as conjunctivitis and blepharitis, caused by bacteria that are sensitive to tobramycin.

2. What you need to know before using Tobrin

Do not use Tobrin:
• if you are allergic to tobramycin or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6).
• for children under 1 year of age.

How to use Tobrin

Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.

The recommended dose for adults, elderly patients and children 1 and older is 1 drop in the eye / eyes 2 times a day – morning and evening for 7 days.
