Mechanism of action:
Approximately 20% of the world’s population is affected by chronic pain, with the percentage increasing among the elderly, reaching 45% to 80%. This is related to the reactions of the nervous system to various stimuli.

Unlike acute pain, chronic pain is most often associated with neurogenic inflammation, which damages the nerves. As a result, they begin to send repetitive pain signals, resembling a damaged alarm. Thus, over time, it becomes impossible to control the pain signal. The pain gets stronger and stronger.

Although pain signals are processed by the nervous system, the immune system is also involved. It creates “hypersensitivity” to chronic pain. Immune cells are activated, releasing mediators from mast cells located near nerve endings. This creates an increased sensitivity of peripheral pain receptors and, in turn, increases the response of neurons in the central nervous system. And the inability to control the process leads to chronic inflammation and pain.

Active ingredients:
Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is a substance that is formed naturally in the body under harmful effects, stress or trauma. PEA is known to prevent the release of inflammatory mediators from immune cells. In this way, creating an analgesic effect, inflammation of the nervous tissue is controlled. However, in the event of chronic pain, the amount of palmitoylethanolamide produced by the body is insufficient. Therefore, additional intake is recommended. More than 30 clinical trials with more than 6,000 patients have proven the benefits of PEA as an anti-inflammatory and analgesic therapy.
Vitamin C has a proven strong antioxidant effect. Significantly reduces the harmful effects of free radicals formed by inflammation of nerve tissue and thus protects it. In addition to these effects, in recent years it has been found that vitamin C stimulates the formation of certain substances in the body that have an analgesic effect. Such natural substances for the body are endorphins, which are also called “happiness hormones” because they reduce pain, have an anti-inflammatory effect and lead to a noticeable improvement.

Palmitoylethanolamide (micronized and ultramicronized)

Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) 300 mg
How to use:
Take 1 capsule about 30 minutes before meals in the morning and evening for 2 weeks, then 1 capsule daily for 30 to 60 days. If necessary, the dose can be increased again to 2 capsules per day, and the duration of administration – to extend.

Excipients:
microcrystalline cellulose (emulsifier), silicon dioxide and NU – MAG (anti-caking agents).

Contraindications:
The product is not suitable for use during pregnancy, lactation and children under 6 years.
