What is Ospen and what is it used for?
Ospen is an antibiotic that inhibits the growth of many different microorganisms by inhibiting the biosynthesis of their cell wall. Therefore, Ospen is used to treat many different diseases. After intake, Ospen is rapidly and almost completely absorbed in the blood. It is eliminated by the kidneys.

Ospen is suitable for the treatment of mild to moderate infections caused by penicillin-sensitive microorganisms. Yeah, they’re like that:

Respiratory tract infections

scarlet fever
sore throat, tonsils; acute inflammation of the middle ear or paranasal sinuses; bronchitis; pneumonia (if parenteral treatment is not required).
Skin infections

Erysipelas (traumatic erysipelas), porcine erysipelas, impetigo contagiosis, boils, abscesses, growing suppuration (phlegmon), erythema chronic migraine (migrating red skin rash) or Lyme borreliosis.
Bite wounds (eg wounds to the face or deep wounds to the hands) and burns. Prevention or prevention of recurrence of an inflammatory reaction against certain bacterial agents (eg acute rheumatism), inflammation of the joints, movement disorders (chorea), inflammation of the kidneys or obstruction of the heart.
Prevention of bacterial spread after minor surgery such as tonsil removal, tooth extraction, etc.
Prevention of infection with certain specific microorganisms (pneumococci) in children with sickle cell anemia (hereditary red blood cell disease).
