What is MAXITROL *

eye drops and what it is used for

MAXITROL eye drops is a corticosteroid-anti-inflammatory combination.

Corticosteroids (dexamethasone in this case) help prevent or reduce inflammation in the eye. Anti-inflammatory substances (neomycin sulfate and polymyxin B sulfate in this case) are effective against a wide variety of microorganisms that can infect the eye (s).

MAXITROL is used to treat inflammation and possible infection in the eye (ocht). This inflammation can be caused by an infection or by a fall in a foreign body, or by injury to the eye.

How to store MAXITROL eye drops

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the bottle and carton after EXP. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Do not store above 25 ° C. Do not refrigerate.

Keep the bottle upright.

The bottle should be discarded 4 weeks after first opening to avoid possible infections.
