Description of the drug Inflectra:
Inflectra (Infliximab) is a type of protein that has the proportions of human and mouse.
Indications for use
Inflectra is used in adults for the following inflammatory diseases:
Rheumatoid arthritis
Psoriatic arthritis
Ankylosing Spondylitis (Ankylosing Spondylitis)
Psoriasis.
Inflectra in adults and children from 6 years of age is also used in:
Crohn’s disease
Ulcerative colitis.
Rheumatoid arthritis:
Rheumatoid arthritis is an inflammatory joint disease. If you have active rheumatoid arthritis, you should first take other medicines. In the event of an unsatisfactory response to these medicines, you will be taking Inflectra in combination with another drug called Methotrexate to:
Reduce symptoms
Slowing the progression of your joint damage
Improving your physical function.
What is psoriatic arthritis:

Ankylosing spondylitis (ankylosing spondylitis):

Psoriasis (Psoriasis)

Nonspecific ulcerative colitis

Contraindications:

Dosage:
Inflectra solution is injected into a vein slowly (about 2 hours). This is usually done in the hand. This is called “intravenous infusion” or drip. After the third treatment, your doctor may decide not to give you Inflectra for 1 hour.
