What FLAREX * is and what it is used for
FLAREX is intended for the treatment of non-infectious external inflammation of the eye.
FLAREX is a representative of a group of medicines called corticosteroids. It works by preventing or reducing inflammation in the eye.
How to use FLAREX
Always use this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
If, after removing the cap, the protective ring is loose, remove it before use.
Adults (including elderly patients) and children (over 7 years of age) The recommended dose is one to two drops in the affected eye (s) – four times a day. Your doctor may decide that you need to increase your dosage for the first 48 hours – up to two drops every two hours.
The duration of treatment is at the discretion of your doctor.

1. Take the FLAREX bottle and mirror.
2. Wash your hands.
3. Shake the bottle well.
4. Unscrew the cap.
5. Hold the bottle pointing down between your thumb and middle finger
6. Tilt your head back. Open the eyelid with the already cleaned finger so that a pocket is formed between it and the eye.
7. Bring the dropper applicator close to the eye. Use the mirror if this makes it easier for you.
8. Do not touch the eye, eyelid, surrounding area or other surfaces with the tip of the drip applicator. There is a risk of contamination of the drops.
9. Carefully push the base of the upside-down bottle with the index finger to release a single drop of FLAREKS.
10. After inserting FLAREX, release the lower eyelid, close the eye, and gently press the eye into the corner of the nose. This will prevent FLAREX from moving to other parts of the body.
11. If you need to use the drops in both eyes, repeat all steps with the other eye.
12. Put the cap on and close the bottle well after use.
13. Use only one bottle.
If the pebble does not get in the eye, try again.
If you forget to use FLAREX, place the dose when you remember. If it’s time for your next dose, continue on your usual schedule. Do not use a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If more than the required amount of FLAREX is given, rinse it with lukewarm water from the eye (s). Do not drop further until the next usual dose.
If you use other medicines for the eyes, wait at least five minutes between the medicines. The eye ointment should be applied last.
If you have any further questions on the use of this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
