What is Flagyl

Flagyl belongs to the group of anti-infectious imidazole derivatives.

What is it used for
This medicine is indicated for the treatment of:

Amebiasis (infectious disease with bleeding diarrhea);
Urogenital trichomoniasis;
Non-specific vaginitis;
Giardiasis (giardiasis) (an infectious disease affecting the small intestine and associated with diarrhea);
Anaerobic infections caused by susceptible anaerobic microorganisms;
Prevention of surgical infections;
Treatment or prevention of infections caused by susceptible anaerobic bacteria after parenteral manipulation.
