Selenium is a powerful antioxidant that helps to:

Selenium is not synthesized by the body, so it must be fed with food. The mineral content of plants is determined by its presence in the soil. The sources of selenium are both plant and animal. Due to the low content of the mineral in the soil, it is deficient in both plants and animals.
