1. What is the immune system?
The immune system is multicomponent and, in order to function effectively, requires all its elements to be present and to work in full interaction. The absence or impaired function of any of the elements leads to an immune deficiency and to a certain disease state.
2. What is biosin?
BIOSIN contains a combination of the following biologically active ingredients:
Lactoferrin – an essential element of the innate immunity of mammals. He is a member of the transferrin family, the major serum transport protein. Colostrum (breast milk which is excreted in the first days after birth) is a major source of Lactoferrin.
The main functions of Lactoferrin are the following:
Antibacterial action: Lactoferrin binds free iron and vitamin B2 and makes them inaccessible to bacteria, which stops them from multiplying. It also destroys the cell walls of germs and fungi;
Anti-viral action: Lactoferrin is a key molecule for the immune system and can be used to fight various viral infections. It prevents viruses from attaching to cell walls and penetrating our cells;
Improved iron absorption: Due to its high affinity for iron, lactoferrin binds and transports it to all cells that need it (improves the bioavailability of iron in the body), which helps to deal with iron deficiency anemia more quickly;
Probiotic action: Lactoferrin suppresses the development of harmful bacteria in the gut and promotes the development of bifidobacteria, contributing to the restoration of normal microflora;
Antioxidant action: Improved iron bioavailability leads to delayed aging and reduced susceptibility to degenerative and cancerous diseases.
Colostrum (colostrum) is a fluid that is excreted from the mammary glands of female mammals in the first 3 to 4 days after birth, before the appearance of normal breast milk. It contains three main groups of ingredients, providing a high concentration of vital growth and modulating factors for the development and maturation of the immune system:
Nutrients and bioactive ingredients – colostrum is rich in proteins of high biological value – 46.7%, carbohydrates – 27.2% and fats – 18%.
It also includes the most important vitamins for the growth of the body: Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, B2, B5, B6, B9, B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, beta-carotene, retinoic acid.
Colostrum contains minerals: sulfur, sodium, chromium, zinc, magnesium, calcium, iron, phosphorus, potassium.
The second group are substances that support the physiological function of the immune system: broad-spectrum antibodies (IgG, IgA, IgM, IgD, IgE), cytokines, lactoferrin, polypeptide proline, oligosaccharides, lactalbumin, Normal CG globulin (Vit D3 binding protein). Normal CG giobtiiin (Vit D3 binding protein) binds to Vit D3 and thus activates macrophages. Normal CG globulin (Vitamin D3 binding protein) plays a key role in the transcription of vitamin D3 to active metabolites and their transport to the site of a local immune response.
