What Azithrone is and what it is used for

Azithromycin contains azithromycin, which belongs to the group of antibacterial medicinal products for systemic use, a macrolide antibiotic.

Azithrone is used to treat patients with infections caused by one or more azithromycin susceptible microorganisms:

upper respiratory tract infections: pharyngitis / tonsillitis, sinusitis and inflammation of the middle ear
lower respiratory tract infections: bronchitis and pneumonia, community acquired skin and soft tissue infections: moderate form of acne vulgaris, erythema chronicle migraine (first stage of Lyme disease), erysipelas, impetigo and secondary pyoderma
stomach and duodenal infections caused by Helicobacter pylori sexually transmitted diseases: uncomplicated genital
infections caused by Chlamydia trachomatis.
