AVIRON RAPID 360 mg tablets * 24

Flu is a viral respiratory disease. Influenza viruses are of three types: A, B, and C. They cause acute infection of the nose, throat, bronchi, and lungs. Influenza is observed every year, most notably in late fall and early winter, and affects many people from different age groups at the same time. Flu epidemics are more common in the winter season. Then people spend more time indoors where it is easier to get in touch with other people.
OVIs are caused by over 200 different viruses affecting the respiratory system. They are characterized by a milder transition of the disease state than the flu.
OVI and influenza are highly contagious, they are transmitted by coughing and sneezing, as well as by contact with contaminated hands or objects of an infected person. In the winter season, the body is more susceptible to this type of disease. If left untreated, OVI and flu can lead to complications such as meningitis, pneumonia, heart problems, and more.
The most susceptible to OVI and influenza are children, pregnant women, the elderly over 65, people with low immunity, and those suffering from chronic diseases.

Antibiotics have no effect on OIEs and influenza, and vaccines have partial success in their prevention, as viruses change constantly and are unpredictable.
The most commonly used medicines for the treatment of viral infections and influenza are so-called symptomatic agents that affect the symptoms themselves but have no effect on the pathogen. These include all painkillers, temperature-lowering, antitussive, makeup products, anti-allergic agents.
The best way to treat influenza and other viral infections is to use etiologic agents that both boost immunity and destroy viruses. As a result, the viral infection intersects at the outset, the symptoms take less time, and the cure becomes faster.
