Acyclovir AL is a medicinal product for the treatment of viral infections (antiviral medicine).

Acyclovir AL is used for:
Treatment of herpes zoster
protection against severe cases of herpes simplex virus infections in immunosuppressed elderly patients at increased risk of infections, for example after organ transplantation. Acyclovir AL is not recommended for the treatment of herpes simplex virus infections in newborns and severe herpes simplex infection in immunocompromised children.
