ACEFFEIN tablets / ACEFEIN tablets Paracetamol 250 mg / Acetylsalicylic acid 250 mg / Caffeine 50 mg / Codeine phosphate hemihydrate 10 mg. WHAT ACEFFEIN tabl. IS AND WHAT IT IS USED FOR? ACEFFEIN tabl. is a combined medicinal product with anti-inflammatory, anti-inflammatory and less pronounced anti-inflammatory action. In combination, the adverse effect of the individual components is enhanced and side effects reduced due to lower doses of the ingredients. The combination also has the following effects: sedative / soothing / action on the central nervous system; beneficial effect on cerebral vessels and reduction of intracerebral pressure (with headache reduction effect). Caffeine enhances the effect of the other three ingredients of the product, facilitating their passage through the blood-brain barrier. Codeine has a pronounced anti-cough effect and enhances the analgesic effect of paracetamol and acetylsalicylic acid. Acephene is used for the short-term and symptomatic treatment of poorly-tolerated individual components of pain of different origins with low to moderate intensity: headache, migraine, toothache; pain after trauma and surgery; acute joint and muscle pains (including inflammatory and degenerative diseases of the locomotory system); diseases of the peripheral nerves – neuralgia, neuritis, radiculitis, plexitis; inflammatory processes of the upper respiratory tract that occur with coughing and fever.
