What is Acupro and what is it used for?
Acupro belongs to a group of medicines called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors.
Acupro is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension), given alone or in combination with other medicines for lowering blood pressure (diuretics and beta-blockers).
It is also used to treat heart failure (congestive heart failure) with other medicines (diuretics and / or glycosides).

What Acupro contains:
The active substance is quinapril in the form of quinapril hydrochloride.
Each film-coated tablet contains 10 mg or 20 mg quinapril.
The other ingredients are:
Tablet core: magnesium carbonate, magnesium stearate, lactose monohydrate, gelatin, crospovidone and candelilla wax.
Film coating: hypromellose, hydroxypropylcellulose, titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 400.
What does Acupro look like and contents of the pack?
Acupro 10 mg is available as white, triangular, biconvex film-coated tablets with a dividing line on both sides and engraved with “10” on one side.
Acupro 20 mg is available as white, round, biconvex film-coated tablets with a double-sided divide and an engraved inscription “20” on one side,
Acupro is available in packs containing 30 tablets in AI-PA / A1 / PVC blisters.
