WHAT IS RIVOTRIL AND WHAT IT IS USED

Clonazepam, the active substance in Rivotril, belongs to the benzodiazepine group and has pronounced seizure control properties. The action of Rivotril is apparent after 30 to 60 minutes.
Rivotril is used to treat certain forms of epilepsy (seizures).

What Rivotril contains
The active substance is clonazepam.
The other ingredients are:
Rivotril 0.5 mg tablets: Lactose, corn starch, potato starch, pregelatinized, ferric oxide red (E 172), ferric oxide yellow (E172), talc, magnesium stearate.

Rivotril 2 mg tablets: Lactose, potato starch, pregelatinized, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate.

What Rivotril looks like and contents of the pack:
Rivotril 0.5 mg tablets are round, pale orange, with Roche 0.5 on one side and a dash on the other. Each pack contains 1 glass bottle of 50 tablets.

Rivotril 2 mg tablets are round, white, with Roche 2 on one side and with a cross mark on the other. Each pack contains 1 glass bottle of 30 tablets.
