What Trachazan is and what it is used for
Tablets for sucking
Trachazin is used to treat infections of the oral cavity and throat locally, such as oral mucosal irritations, gum disease, periodontitis (inflammation of the gums with progressive stripping and shaking of teeth), glossitis (inflammation of the tongue), angina, pharyngitis of the throat), difficulty in swallowing. For prevention of infections before and after surgical operations in the oral cavity and throat (tooth extraction, surgical treatment of gums, tonsil drawing).
Oral inflammation can be caused by pathogenic and other factors. Symptoms are redness and mucosal hypersensitivity, accompanied by a burning sensation in the mouth area, difficulty swallowing, sore throat and hoarse voice.
The combination of active ingredients contained in Trachyzan tablets has an antibacterial, antiseptic and pain-relieving effect that greatly improves the condition.
Trachazin tablets do not contain sugar, therefore they do not pose a risk of developing caries.
How to Use Trachazan
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
For adults: one tablet is sucked at intervals of two hours, up to 8 times a day;
Children over 6 years: Up to 6 times a day.
The active substances are:
Tyrothricin – 0.5 mg;
Chlorhexidine digluconate – 1.0 mg;
Lidocaine hydrochloride – 1.0 mg.
The excipients are: sorbitol, magnesium stearate, peppermint oil.
